Stephanie Bakouche
Stéphanie Bakouche, born in Paris, decided at age five that she wanted to create perfumes. She began her career at eighteen at LT Piver before training at ISIPCA, and went on to work for Givaudan, Takasago, Parfums MDCI, and L'Artisan Parfumeur — where she rose from International Training Manager to Head of Perfume Development — mentored by Bertrand Duchaufour. Her celebrated 2005 creation Invasion Barbare for Parfums MDCI remains a cult favorite; in 2017 she founded her independent lab Sensaba.
