Wessel-Jan Kos, born into a family of perfumers in Hilversum, the Netherlands, graduated from ISIPCA and began perfumer training in Geneva in September 1992, promoted to perfumer in March 1996. His career took him through Princeton, Cologne, Dubai, and London, where he served as Vice President — and later a tutor — of the British Society of Perfumers, favoring simple, straightforward fragrances.
