Yusuf Madappan, known as Yusuf Bhai, is a self-taught perfumer from a fishing village in Chavakkad, Thrissur, Kerala.
Demigod XXIHe began his career as a photographer in Qatar before moving to the UAE to help his brother's perfume business, spending over three decades in Dubai's Deira district mastering the craft and building a reputation for being able to recreate almost any fragrance from memory. He later returned to Hyderabad and launched his own eponymous perfume brand, having sold over a million perfumes and crafted his creations around personal memory and storytelling.
