Jo Malone London
The art of combining
united kingdom · est. 1990 · designer · 8 fragrances
Our Story
Jo Malone began blending fragrances from her kitchen in London in the early 1990s, selling them alongside facials she gave from home. The fragrances she created — clean, direct, built around a single material — launched the concept of 'fragrance combining': layering two scents to create a third. The brand was acquired by Estée Lauder in 1999 and grew into a global presence while retaining its distinctly English sensibility.
Our Philosophy
“Jo Malone London believes that fragrance should be personal above all else — a reflection of who you are on a given day, in a given mood. The fragrance combining concept places that power squarely in the wearer's hands.”
