After the fragrance dedicated to sandalwood blossom, Colonia Sandalo Concentree introduced also this year, Acqua di Parma enriched their collection Ingredient inspired by special ingredients with the new fragrance ACQUA DI PARMA COLONIA QUERCIA. Colonia Quercia is a journey to Piedmont, among aristocratic and historic families. In the shade of a sacred tree, symbol of courage, dignity and shelter. " Travelling among the aristocratic families of Piedmont you encounter one of their traditional symbols. A tree considered sacred since ancient times, whose renowned longevity testifies to and accompanies the history of mankind, as well as the traditions and values handed down unaltered from generation to generation. The oak, already venerated in times past as the king of trees or the tree of life due to its exceptional hardiness and longevity, has always been a symbol of generosity and courage. With its powerful trunk and ample crown it conveys protection and strength. It is from the soft moss which grows on its bark that one of the most precious and rare ingredients of quality perfumery is extracted - oakmoss absolute - which becomes the heart of a new and exclusive olfactory composition. Colonia Quercia." - Acqua di Parma.Colonia Quercia possesses magnificent strength of the precious wood. During the olfactive development of the new composition lies the impeccable citrusy union which meets chords of moss, greenery and light framing the picture and the feeling of a long walk through the woods. Depth to the composition is provided by highly appreciated perfumery ingredient - oakmoss absolute. Original alchemy was created by a blend of carefully selected notes. The citrusy opening of the composition reflects the unique and unforgettable character of Colonia. Initial notes accentuate lemon, bergamot, petit grain and pink pepper, leading us to the heart, full of vibrant geranium, cardamom and cedar. This is introduction to the grand finale, which is completely light, sophisticated and powerful. The leading role is held by oakmoss absolute, a rare ingredient, extremely rich in shades, which provides Colonia Quercia with unique longevity and high elegance. Aromas of moss and wood in the base are combined with Tonka and precious warmth of patchouli. Characteristic flacon of Acqua di Parma in Art Deco style is colored in dark brown this time, and shaped like previous editions of the Ingredient collection. The fragrance is available as a 100ml and 180ml Eau de Cologne Concentree in spray flacon.
