Geranium Odorata by Diptyque is a composition that captures the essence of fresh greenery and subtle spiciness. Launched in 2014, it was created by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin to evoke the delicate balance between aromatic freshness and woody warmth. The fragrance opens with a bright burst of citrus and herbal notes, before transitioning into a heart of rose that adds a touch of floral sweetness. The base notes of wood and fresh spices ground the composition, creating a harmonious blend that is both invigorating and comforting.
Geranium Odorata has moderate longevity and sillage, so aim for two sprays to capture its full essence. The citrus and herbal notes are most prominent in the first hour, but the woody base will linger on skin throughout the day.
