Launched in 2012 by Diptyque and crafted by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin, Volutes Eau de Parfum is a complex woody fragrance that balances warmth with earthiness. The composition opens with the honeyed sweetness of Egyptian tobacco, transporting you to distant shores where mystery and charm intertwine. Iris adds depth, while spices provide body, and styrax introduces a daring leathery note that lifts the overall character.
Apply Volutes Eau de Parfum in light sprays — the opening notes are bright but fade quickly. The base notes, including the powdery warmth and earthy undertones, develop gradually over time, making it perfect for evening wear when you want a scent that evolves with you.
