Midnight Poison by Dior is a Woody Chypre fragrance for women. Midnight Poison was launched in 2007. Midnight Poison was created by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, Olivier Cresp and François Demachy. More than twenty years since creation of legendary Poison, Dior is launching the fifth of the Poison range, Midnight Poison. John Galliano\'s inspiration for visual image of this perfume is the fairytale of Cinderella, brought to life by the French actress Eva Green. The mystery starts when the clock beats midnight, and she is disappearing in the haze. The colors of the flacon are cobalt and ultramarine blue, and it is designed to be reminiscent of Cinderella\'s dress. The new Dior\'s poison is opening with citrus notes of mandarin and bergamot to the rose heart, and patchouli, amber and French vanilla in the base. The creators of Midnight Poison are Jacques Cavallier and Olivier Cresp of Firmenich in collaboration with Francois Demachy of LVMH.

The fragrance is a new interpretation of the original women's perfume CH from 2007. The scent is designed to complement femininity, elegance, sensuality and charm. It is described as fun, charming and somewhat mysterious. The composition is inspired by old vintage scents of the 20s, made with a twist of modernity. The strong and distinctive character of the fragrance provided by rose, patchouli and moss is modified with contemporary accords of passionflower. It opens with fresh and exotic notes of bergamot and passionflower. Roses and orchid are placed in the heart, followed by the base of patchouli, moss, leather and amber. The fragrance is available as 80 ml Eau de Parfum.
