Launched in 2016 by Clive Christian, a brand that reinterprets the legacy of its Victorian roots, 1872 Vetiver is a Woody Spicy fragrance for women and men. Created by perfumer Beverley Bayne, it opens with bright citrus notes like bergamot and grapefruit, which give way to green and herbal accords such as galbanum and rosemary. The heart of the fragrance features florals like jasmine and freesia, adding a touch of warmth and freshness before settling into a base of vetiver, moss, and musk that reads as earthy and smoky.

She created Eau Sans Pareil for Penhaligon's and worked alongside fellow CPL Aromas perfumers Julie Pluchet and Dominique Preyssas on Franck Muller's fine fragrance collection.
