HeartThe Soul
The story behind the bottle.
Velour by 27.9, launched in 2025 and crafted by Hamid Merati-Kashani, is a sophisticated Oriental Spicy fragrance that captures the essence of warmth and complexity. The caramelized almond note introduces a rich sweetness that contrasts beautifully with the sharp cardamom and cinnamon, creating an intriguing tension. As it settles into its woody base of Australian sandalwood and Madagascar vanilla, Velour reveals its powdery, aromatic depth, making it a fragrance that feels both intimate and enveloping.
Given its long-lasting nature, Velour builds gradually on the skin. One spray in the morning is sufficient as it develops over time, allowing each layer to unfold throughout the day. It pairs particularly well with the softness of a sweater or cashmere.
