A*Men Pure Malt by Mugler was launched in 2009 as a limited-edition flanker to the A*Men line. Perfumer Jacques Huclier crafted this Oriental Woody fragrance around an unusual malted-whisky and peat accord, which quickly became a cult favorite among enthusiasts. The composition opens with bright fruity notes of orange and bergamot, giving way to a heart of malt and whiskey that is both earthy and warm. Patchouli and cedar add depth, while vanilla and amber lend a sweet, spicy finish. Enthusiasts often note that pre-2019 batches were richer and more intensely peaty/boozy than later reformulated versions.

Application Tips
This fragrance is best applied with two sprays directly to pulse points. The fruity top notes dissipate quickly, but the malt and peat heart notes emerge within an hour for a lasting warmth.
