The story behind the bottle.
Ajmal, known for its mastery of perfume making and rich history in the Middle East, presents Tempest as an Oriental fragrance that marries oud and tobacco with warm spices and powdery notes. The composition opens with agarwood (oud) and tobacco, creating a smoky and intense initial impression. This is followed by amber and rose, adding depth and warmth to the heart of the scent. A woody base of sandalwood, patchouli, and vetiver grounds the fragrance, ensuring it remains complex yet balanced.
Tempest is best applied in light layers, allowing the smoky top notes to mingle with the warmer base notes over time. The fragrance projects well but reads better close to skin rather than across a room, making it ideal for intimate settings or evening wear.
