Launched in 2017, Alien Eau Sublime by Mugler is an Oriental Woody fragrance created by Dominique Ropion and Claire Liégent. This composition opens with a vibrant burst of citrus notes like lemon, orange, and mandarin, which are immediately balanced by the rich warmth of solar notes and vanilla. The heart of the fragrance features a blend of white florals such as jasmine, tiare flower, and orange blossom, along with the subtle sweetness of heliotrope and cherry blossom. These floral nuances add a delicate touch that contrasts beautifully with the woody base notes of cashmeran, white amber, and vetiver, creating an enveloping warmth.

Claire Liégent was born in the Champagne region and grew up in her father's restaurant, developing an early sensitivity to scent. She trained at ISIPCA from 2007 and apprenticed at Symrise, then worked at IFF and IFF-LMR in Grasse before moving to Takasago, where she has created fragrances for Giorgio Armani, Lancôme, and Yves Saint Laurent, including YSL Y. In 2012 she co-founded the Parisian niche boutique Nose.
