Myths Man by Amouage, launched in 2016 and crafted by Daniel Visentin, Dorothée Piot, and Karine Vinchon Spehner, is a fragrance that embodies the duality of modernity and heritage. The smoky, aromatic opening with chrysanthemum and orris gives way to a heart of elemi and rum, creating a warm, spicy tension. This blend settles into a woody base of vetiver, rose, ash, leather, and labdanum that reads as both earthy and refined. It is neither overly assertive nor understated, striking a balance between the opulent traditions of Amouage and contemporary olfactory innovation.

Daniel Visentin, from Grasse, began his perfumery career in 1976 with Robertet, mastering raw material creation and odor control before becoming a full-fledged perfumer by 2001, working across Robertet's international subsidiaries including China and India.
