The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2003 by perfumer Raymond Matts, Aramis Life was created to embody the essence of a modern, sophisticated man. The fragrance opens with bright citrus and aromatic notes like lime and bergamot, which immediately capture attention with their freshness. As it develops, the scent transitions into a warm and woody heart with cardamom, mint, and violet leaf, adding layers of complexity and depth. The base notes of cedar, leather, sandalwood, and olive tree create a grounding effect that feels both comforting and alluring.
Aramis Life is best applied in two sprays to ensure that the top notes and heart are balanced throughout the day. The ozonic and green accords fade within an hour but allow the warm spicy base to shine for hours afterward. This fragrance reads better up close, so a few touches on pulse points will enhance its intimate warmth.
