The Story

Julian Bedel launched Asagiri by Fueguia 1833 in 2017, inspired by the serene morning mists and the hazy view of Mt Fuji during winter sunrises. The composition is built around Hinoki Wood, Thuja, and Cedar, creating a woody aromatic scent that captures the essence of nature's quietude. It opens with a fresh spicy and green accord, which gradually gives way to a powdery base, evoking the misty atmosphere of early morning in the mountains.

Application Tips

Apply Asagiri sparingly — the fresh spicy opening notes are bright but fleeting. The powdery base develops over time, so a light spritz on pulse points will ensure that the warm woody tones come through as the day progresses.
