Balafre by Lancôme was launched in 2011 and is a Woody Chypre fragrance for men. Created by Henri Sorsana and Gérard Goupy, it opens with green notes and lime, which cut through the heart of lavender, neroli, and pine needles, creating a fresh and aromatic tension. The base notes of cedar, oakmoss, vetiver, leather, musk, and amber provide depth and warmth, grounding the composition in earthy comfort.
