Basso by Sospiro Perfumes was launched in 2022 and crafted by perfumer Christian Provenzano, capturing the commanding presence of a powerful basso profondo voice. The fragrance opens with a sharp, aromatic note of Grapefruit, leading into a heart of deep Labdanum, spicy Carnation, and hints of Mayflower. These notes create an intriguing tension, softened by smothering base notes like Sandalwood, Vetiver, Black Pepper, Pink Pepper, Galbanum, Nutmeg, Guaiac Wood, Oakmoss, and Cedar. The overall effect is a pleasant struggle between power and passion, evoking the dramatic presence of a commanding performance.
