Bee
“Bee by Zoologist Perfumes is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women and men”
The Quick Read
Respected, if divisive — a vanilla, beeswax composition with a honey undertone. Voted best for fall and winter wear — and genuinely unisex.

Launched in 2019 by Zoologist Perfumes, Bee is an Oriental Floral fragrance created by Cristiano Canali. The composition opens with the earthy warmth of ginger and orange before transitioning into a heart that balances honey and mimosa with hints of heliotrope and orange blossom. It settles into a base of vanilla, benzoin, tonka bean, sandalwood, labdanum, and musk — an accord that reads as Beeswax mixed with powdery warmth and subtle animalic notes. Bee is neither too sweet nor overly heavy; it finds its balance in the tension between floral sweetness and earthy depth.

Application Tips
Apply one or two sprays to your pulse points. The top notes are vibrant but fade quickly into the heart and base, which take about an hour to fully settle in. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than filling a room, so aim for intimate encounters where its warm embrace can be fully appreciated.
