Launched in 2015 by Xerjoff and crafted by perfumer Chris Maurice, Begum is a Chypre Floral fragrance that seamlessly blends the vibrant freshness of citrus and florals with the warm embrace of vanilla and spices. The composition opens with red berries and citrus fruits like bergamot and lemon, creating an invigorating top note. This gives way to a heart filled with damask rose, Bulgarian rose, iris, and jasmine sambac, offering a rich blend of floral scents. The base notes of sandalwood, palisander rosewood, patchouli, amber, musk, and vetiver ground the fragrance in a warm, powdery finish that lingers throughout the day.

Application Tips
Apply Begum lightly at first — the citrus top notes are bright but fade quickly. Allow the fragrance to develop on your skin for a few minutes before layering if needed. The warm base notes take about an hour to fully bloom, making this ideal for wear in the evening or cooler settings.
