Bengal Oud by Montale was launched in 2019 and is crafted by Pierre Montale. This fragrance opens with a bright citrus blend of bitter orange and bergamot, which cuts through the rich oud and leather notes that form its heart. The composition then settles into an earthy base of patchouli, vetiver, and sandalwood, underpinned by warm powdery and aromatic accords. This contrast between fresh top notes and deep, smoky undertones creates a dynamic olfactory experience that is both modern and lasting.

Application Tips
Bengal Oud has a strong projection from its top notes but takes about two hours for the base to fully settle. Apply it lightly on pulse points — the warmth of your skin will enhance the leather and oud notes over time. Ideal for cooler evenings, where the smoky undertones can mingle with the night air.

The story behind the bottle.
The tension of an old-world library where the crisp scent of leather-bound books meets the smoldering richness of aged wood, creating a space that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.
