Alwouod by Boadicea the Victorious, launched in 2020, is a gender-neutral fragrance that embodies the brand's commitment to quintessentially British luxury and heritage. The composition opens with davana and artemisia, creating an aromatic and slightly smoky tension before transitioning into a heart of ambrette and coriander, which add warmth and spiciness. At its core, Alwouod features Cambodian oud and rose, grounded by patchouli, atlas cedar, and incense. The base notes of amber, musk, castoreum, and styrax create an animalic and woody depth that lingers on the skin.
Apply Alwouod with two sprays to allow the aromatic opening notes to blend into the smoky and woody heart. The fragrance develops best close to skin rather than in a room, so layer it for maximum impact during cooler evenings.
