Bodacious by Boadicea the Victorious, launched in 2021 and crafted by Christian Provenzano, is a fragrance that embodies quintessential British elegance with incomparable quality. The composition opens with cherry and cognac, bringing warmth and sweetness to the forefront before transitioning into the heart of almond, clove, heliotrope, jasmine sambac, and Moroccan rose. These notes create an intricate blend of fruity and spicy accords, underpinned by a base of tonka bean, tobacco, vanilla, amber, sandalwood, musk, and vetiver, which adds depth and richness to the scent.
Bodacious is best applied in light layers to allow its nuanced notes to unfold gradually. The top notes are bright but fade quickly, so a second application after an hour can enhance the longevity of the scent.
