Launched in 2022, Contralto by Sospiro Perfumes is the work of perfumer Christian Provenzano. This fragrance blends woody and white floral notes with a touch of aromatic freshness, creating an intricate balance that feels both warm and crisp. The opening notes of orange blossom and pink pepper introduce a vibrant yet powdery quality, while clove and juniper berries add a fresh spicy depth. As the scent settles into its base of guaiac wood, chestnut, cashmeran, vanilla, and peru balsam, it becomes enveloping without becoming heavy.
Contralto builds gradually on the skin, so two sprays will allow it to develop fully. The aromatic top notes dissipate quickly, making it ideal for evening wear when you want a scent that evolves over time.
