The story behind the bottle.
Hacivat by Nishane is a Chypre fragrance for women and men, launched in 2017 with perfumer Jorge Lee at the helm. The composition opens with fresh, zesty notes of pineapple and grapefruit, creating an immediate sense of vibrancy and warmth. As it evolves, the scent transitions into a heart of jasmine and bergamot, balancing sweetness with freshness. The base notes of cedar, patchouli, oakmoss, and woody accords ground the fragrance in earthy richness.
Within niche fragrance communities, Hacivat is regarded as one of the most widely discussed 'titan' releases from Nishane. It is often recommended as an ideal introductory purchase to the brand for its distinctive pineapple-woody chypre execution, a category that had fallen out of mainstream fashion at the time of its release.
This fragrance blooms best when applied directly to pulse points. The top notes of pineapple and grapefruit are bright but ephemeral, so a second application in the afternoon can help maintain its vibrancy throughout the day. It pairs well with light layers for a warmer atmosphere.
