The story behind the bottle.
Ani X by Nishane, launched in 2023 and created by perfumer Cécile Zarokian, is a composition that balances fresh citrus notes with warm woody accords. The fragrance opens with lemon and bergamot, providing a bright and crisp freshness that contrasts beautifully with the spicy and aromatic elements like ginger and cardamom. As it evolves, melon and green apple add a fruity sweetness, while lavender and rose bring a floral softness. Patchouli and cedar anchor the base with earthy warmth, complemented by vanilla and white musk for a powdery finish.
Start with two sprays to capture the full range of top and base notes. The citrus opening is lively but fades within an hour, so it's best for daytime wear when you want a refreshing yet warm presence.
