The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Yves Saint Laurent and crafted by Claire Liégent and Dominique Ropion, Y Eau de Parfum is a blend of aromatic freshness and woody warmth. The fragrance opens with the bright zest of bergamot and ginger, giving way to a heart of apple and sage that adds a crisp, fruity edge. At its core, it settles into amberwood, cedar, and vetiver, creating an earthy depth that feels both modern and lasting.
Y Eau de Parfum has quickly become a staple in the YSL fragrance lineup for its balance between freshness and warmth, capturing the essence of contemporary elegance.
One or two sprays are enough to capture its essence. The citrus and ginger notes fade within a couple of hours, so apply it closer to skin for the best longevity. This fragrance is better suited for cooler weather when the woody base can shine without overpowering.
