The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 by Azzaro, Wanted was created by perfumers Fabrice Pellegrin and Olivier Cresp. This Woody Spicy fragrance for men opens with a vibrant citrus-aromatic accord featuring lemon and ginger, punctuated by the freshness of mint and lavender. The heart introduces a surprising touch of fruity notes like apple and guatemalan cardamom, adding depth and warmth to the composition. As it settles into its base, amberwood and haitian vetiver create an enveloping woody-spicy warmth that is both modern and lasting.
Wanted has become a frequent target of budget 'dupe' clones circulated on TikTok, with fragrances like Lattafa's Ansaam Silver and Asad Bourbon marketed as alternatives to it. Despite this imitative wave, Wanted remains a distinct and respected presence in the men's fragrance market.
Wanted's top notes are bright but fleeting, so apply two sprays initially to ensure they linger. The base notes develop over time, making it perfect for daytime wear when you want a fragrance that evolves with your activities.
