Acteur by Azzaro was launched in 1989 as a Woody Spicy fragrance for men, crafted by the perfumer Maurice Maurin. This composition is a proof of Mediterranean luxury and sophistication, with its heart beating around rose and carnation, underscored by earthy accords of patchouli and cedar. The opening notes of cardamom and bergamot bring an aromatic freshness that cuts through the richness of the base notes, which include leather, oakmoss, musk, and amber. This contrast creates a dynamic fragrance that is both warm and spicy, yet grounded in earthy tones.
