HeartThe Soul
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1990 by Chanel and crafted by Jacques Polge, Egoiste is a Woody Spicy fragrance that redefined masculine elegance. The composition begins with the warmth of cinnamon and coriander, before settling into rich layers of damask rose, carnation, and tobacco. Leather and amber add depth to the base, creating an enveloping warmth that feels both intimate and commanding. Egoiste has become one of Chanel's most iconic fragrances, celebrated for its blend of sophistication and sensuality.
Given its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, one or two sprays are sufficient. The opening notes will fade within an hour, but the warm base notes will linger throughout the day. Best worn in cooler temperatures to enhance its depth.
