The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2000 by Cartier, Must de Cartier Pour Homme is a composition that balances fresh and spicy notes with warm woods. Nathalie Feisthauer crafted this fragrance to be unisex, blending green mandarin and grapefruit with the warmth of cinnamon and vanilla. The anise and coriander in the top notes create an aromatic tension that contrasts beautifully with the earthy base of sandalwood, tonka bean, vetiver, cedar, and patchouli. This juxtaposition gives the fragrance a dynamic character, making it feel both fresh and enveloping.
This fragrance has a strong opening with its citrus and anis notes, so one or two sprays are enough. It develops over time, allowing the warm spices and woody base to come through. Best applied in cooler weather when the spicy warmth feels more inviting.
