Launched in 2020 by Cartier, Oud Ambre is a fragrance that marries the rich warmth of oud and amber with fresh spicy notes and powdery undertones. Perfumer Mathilde Laurent crafted this Oriental scent to evoke an aura of sophistication and depth, making it a unisex offering for those who appreciate complex olfactory experiences. The composition begins with a burst of freshness before settling into a velvety embrace of woody and animalic accords.
Given its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, one or two sprays are sufficient. The fresh spicy opening is most noticeable in the first hour but gives way to a warm and enveloping base that lasts throughout the day.
