Launched in 2009 and crafted by Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion, and Pierre Wargnye, La Nuit de l'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent is a Woody Spicy fragrance that embodies contrasts and tensions. The composition opens with the bright freshness of cardamom and bergamot, which gives way to lavender and Virginia cedar in the heart. These notes create a sense of strength and warmth before settling into vetiver and caraway in the base, providing an opulent and elegant finish. La Nuit de l'Homme is a powerful representation of modern masculinity, with its dark and mysterious charm.
Apply this fragrance sparingly — its top notes are bright and fleeting, while the base notes develop slowly. One or two sprays to the pulse points will suffice for a full day's wear. It reads best in cooler temperatures when its spicy and woody elements can truly shine.
