Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2023, Invictus Victory Elixir by Rabanne is an Oriental Woody fragrance designed to evoke strength and warmth. Perfumers Anne Flipo, Domitille Michalon Bertier, and Nicolas Beaulieu crafted a composition that opens with the sharp freshness of lavender and cardamom, leading into the rich warmth of vanilla pod and tonka bean. The interplay between these notes creates an olfactory experience that is both spicy and sweet, grounded by the earthy presence of patchouli and incense.
One spray to the pulse points is enough — the spicy top notes are bright but settle into a warm base within an hour. The fragrance reads best close to skin rather than across a room, so use it sparingly for a more intimate experience.
