HeartThe Soul
The story behind the bottle.
La Nuit by Rabanne was launched in 1985 and crafted by perfumers Jean Guichard and Rosendo Mateu, setting the stage for an enduring composition that blends animalic and woody accords with fresh spiciness and earthy notes. This fragrance opens with a vibrant mix of tangerine, bergamot, and Amalfi lemon, creating a bright yet complex top layer. The heart, featuring white honey, rose, jasmine, and peach, brings an unexpected sweetness that contrasts beautifully with the deep leather and civetta in the base. La Nuit is known for its strong sillage and eternal longevity, making it a powerful presence throughout the day.
Given its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, one or two sprays are sufficient. The top notes will fade within a couple of hours, but the base of civetta and leather ensures that La Nuit remains noticeable throughout the day. It's best to apply it in the evening when its deep accords can truly shine.
