Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016, Invictus Intense by Rabanne is a composition that balances the intensity of fresh and warm spices with the depth of amber and whiskey. Perfumers Anne Flipo and Juliette Karagueuzoglou crafted this fragrance to evoke a sense of strength and confidence. The opening notes of orange blossom and black pepper are crisp and invigorating, giving way to a heart of laurels and whiskey that adds an unexpected layer of complexity. The base notes of ambergris and salt create a warm, animalic finish that lingers on the skin.
Two sprays are enough to capture the full essence of Invictus Intense. The initial spiciness fades within an hour, so it's best applied just before you head out for the evening. It reads better close to skin than across a room, making it perfect for intimate settings.
