The story behind the bottle.
La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Électrique by Yves Saint Laurent was launched in 2017 and is a composition that seamlessly blends freshness with warmth. Created by Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion, and Juliette Karagueuzoglou, this Oriental Fougère fragrance opens with the vibrant zest of green apple, lemon, and mandarin orange. The heart introduces a harmonious blend of geranium, lavender, sage, and orange blossom, adding an herbal and floral dimension. As it settles into its base notes of vanilla, tonka bean, cashmere wood, cedar, patchouli, and vetiver, the fragrance evokes a sense of grounded sophistication.
Apply this fragrance with a light hand; its top notes are bright but fleeting. The base notes take about an hour to fully bloom, so plan accordingly. It reads best in cooler weather or during the evening when its warm undertones can shine.
