The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2023 by Yves Saint Laurent, Y Eau de Parfum Intense is a creation from perfumers Claire Liégent and Dominique Ropion. This aromatic fougère fragrance opens with the bright punch of ginger and juniper berries, immediately catching your attention before easing into a heart of bergamot, sage, and lavender. The base notes of vetiver, patchouli, and cedar ground the composition, creating an earthy warmth that lingers. Y Eau de Parfum Intense is a proof of the brand's legacy of blending boldness with sophistication.
Apply one or two sprays to your pulse points. The ginger and juniper top notes are bright but fleeting, so wait a few minutes for the vetiver and patchouli base to settle in. This fragrance reads better close to skin rather than across a room.
