Launched in 2025, Y Iced Cologne by Yves Saint Laurent is a fresh aromatic fougère crafted by perfumer Dominique Ropion. This composition opens with mint and ice notes that create an immediate sense of cool crispness, reminiscent of a brisk morning walk. The heart of the fragrance features mint tea and blue sage, adding layers of complexity and depth. As it settles into its base, patchouli and ambroxan bring warmth and musky woody tones, creating a balanced contrast between freshness and richness.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points in the morning. The initial mint and ice notes will dissipate within an hour, giving way to the comforting warmth of the base notes. This fragrance is best enjoyed close to skin rather than projecting into a room.
