Paradoxe, launched in 2022 by Prada and crafted by perfumers Bruno Jovanovic, Marie Salamagne, and Nicolas Bonneville, is a composition that defies expectations. It opens with a luminous burst of pear and citrus—both crisp and voluptuous—that feels like the first bite into an unexpectedly juicy fruit. This freshness gives way to a creamy heart of neroli and white florals, blooming like silk against skin. The base settles into a sensual embrace of amber and vanilla, creating a fragrance that is innocent yet seductive, modern yet lasting.
Apply Paradoxe liberally to pulse points for maximum impact. The citrus opening is bright but fades within an hour, making way for the rich and creamy base notes that last through the day. It's best suited for daytime or early evening wear when you want a fragrance that evolves with your mood.
