The story behind the bottle.
Eros Flame by Versace was launched in 2018, crafted by perfumer Olivier Pescheux. This fragrance opens with a bright burst of citrus and aromatic notes like mandarin orange, lemon, and rosemary, before transitioning to a heart filled with spicy warmth from Madagascar pepper and Chinotto. The base is richly layered with vanilla, tonka bean, sandalwood, and patchouli, creating an enveloping warmth that lingers on the skin. Eros Flame divides the enthusiast community: praised for its powerful projection and long-lasting scent trail, but criticized by some as synthetic and derivative of Paco Rabanne 1 Million's orange-clubber style.
One spray is enough — Eros Flame projects strongly and lasts throughout the day. Its strong citrus opening gives way to a spicy warmth that blooms over time, so apply sparingly for a balanced experience.
