Launched in 2021, Epic 56 Woman by Amouage is a fragrance that balances fresh and warm spices with rich woody accords and floral notes. Perfumer Cécile Zarokian crafts a composition where pink pepper and cumin create an initial burst of freshness, which then transitions into the warmth of damask rose and jasmine tea. The base notes of oud and sandalwood provide depth and longevity, grounding the fragrance in a luxurious oriental spice blend that is both bold and sophisticated.
Due to its strong sillage and eternal longevity, a single spritz is enough for this fragrance. The initial spicy notes are prominent for the first hour before settling into a warm woody base that lasts throughout the day. It's best suited for evenings or special occasions when you want a scent that stands out.
