The story behind the bottle.
Epic Woman by Amouage was launched in 2009, crafted by perfumers Angéline Leporini, Cécile Zarokian, and Daniel Maurel. This Oriental Floral fragrance opens with fresh spicy notes from caraway and cinnamon, leading to a heart of pink nerium oleander and damask rose that contrasts the initial sharpness with floral warmth. The base is woody and warm, anchored by agarwood (oud), patchouli, sandalowood, and musk, creating an enveloping finish that’s both rich and complex.
Epic Woman has strong sillage and long-lasting notes, so one generous spray is usually enough to carry it through the day. The spicy top notes are most noticeable initially but give way to a deeper woody base after about an hour, making it ideal for evening wear.

A rose distillery in Egypt, and a career was bornAngéline Leporini is a Senior Perfumer currently working with Eurofragance, having previously worked with Robertet. Her interest in fragrance was sparked at seventeen during a trip to Egypt, where she visited a factory distilling essential oils from roses.
