Rose Oud by By Kilian, launched in 2010 and crafted by perfumer Calice Becker, is a bold Oriental Woody fragrance that marries the rich warmth of oud with the delicate complexity of Bulgarian rose. The composition opens with an unexpected metallic note that cuts through the sweetness, leading to a heart of litchi and tincture of rose, which adds depth without overpowering. As it settles into its woody base of agarwood, guaiac wood, and cedar, Rose Oud reveals layers of warmth and spice, making it a fragrance that evolves with every wear.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for a balanced scent that blooms over time. The metallic note fades quickly, so give it a moment to integrate before layering with other scents or wearing a jacket.
