Incense Oud by By Kilian was launched in 2011 and crafted by Sidonie Lancesseur, the nose behind this complex composition. The fragrance opens with a vibrant interplay of rose and cardamom, setting the stage for a warm spicy heart that includes pink pepper and geranium. This is anchored by a rich base of oud, incense, sandalwood, and musk, creating an atmosphere that is both smoky and balsamic. The result is a unisex scent that embodies the warmth and depth of traditional incense rituals, but with modern, sophisticated nuances.
Apply lightly to pulse points — the smoky base notes need time to develop on skin. This fragrance works best in cooler environments, as the warmth of the oud and incense can be overpowering in hot weather.
