The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015 and crafted by Jorge Lee, Suede et Safran is a musky-leather fragrance that weaves together the rich warmth of suede and saffron with subtle metallic notes. The opening hints at ginger and ambrette, creating an unexpected freshness that contrasts with the powdery tobacco and deep leather base. This composition feels like a modern interpretation of classic scents, blending comfort and intrigue.
Given its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, one or two sprays on pulse points are enough to carry it through the day. Allow it to develop for at least an hour before layering with other fragrances. This scent is best enjoyed close to skin, where the powdery warmth of suede truly shines.
