The story behind the bottle.
Aoud Leather by Montale was launched in 2009 and is a composition that balances the warmth of leather with the depth of oud. Created by Pierre Montale, this fragrance opens with a fresh spicy accord that cuts through the richness of its base notes. The heart introduces an aromatic blend that ties together the animalic undertones and smoky elements, creating a complex interplay between earthy and woody textures.
One to two sprays are sufficient — the fresh spicy top notes dissipate within an hour but give way to a long-lasting base. The animalic and smoky accords ensure that this fragrance reads best close to skin, making it ideal for intimate settings or cooler evenings.
