The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2023 by Zara and crafted by perfumer Alberto Morillas, Blooming Oud is a bold exploration of contrasts. The fragrance opens with an aromatic complexity that blends smoky oud with warm spicy notes, creating an intriguing tension. At its heart, leather adds a touch of rugged sophistication, while animalic undertones lend depth and intrigue. This composition settles into a base of amber, anchoring the scent in rich warmth and sensuality.
Apply two sprays for the full effect; the smoky and spicy notes develop quickly on skin but take about an hour to fully settle. Best suited for evenings or cooler weather when the warmth of the amber and leather can be fully appreciated.
