The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1988, Fahrenheit by Dior is an aromatic fougère that combines the crisp freshness of citrus and lavender with the warmth of leather and woody notes. Created by perfumers Jean-Louis Sieuzac, Michel Almairac, and Maurice Roger, this fragrance is known for its complex blend of nutmeg flower, hawthorn, cedar, sandalwood, jasmine, and musk. The ozonic and aquatic accords add a modern twist to the traditional fougère structure, making it a trailblazer in men's perfumery. Fahrenheit's longevity and strong sillage make it a bold choice that stands out without being overpowering.
Fahrenheit's strong sillage means that one or two sprays is enough to make a statement. The fragrance blooms fully within an hour, so it’s best to apply well before you need it to be at its peak. It reads better in cooler weather when the woody and leather notes are more pronounced.
