Launched in 2020 by Nathalie Templer, Greenley by Parfums de Marly quickly became one of the brand’s most talked-about releases. It is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance that polarizes its audience: some hail it as a versatile and crisp skin scent, while others dismiss it as overhyped and linear. The composition opens with green apple and Calabrian bergamot, leading to a heart of pomarose and violet before settling into a base of cashmeran and musk. This contrast between fresh, sharp notes and warm, enveloping ones creates an intriguing tension that resonates differently for each wearer.
Given its sharp opening notes, apply Greenley sparingly; one spray is often enough. The green apple note fades quickly, but the cashmeran and musk base notes linger softly throughout the day. It’s best for daytime wear when you want a subtle yet distinctive scent.
